Sleep Technologist – 13-Week Contract
Position Overview
The facility seeks an experienced Sleep Technologist for a 13-week contract in the sleep medicine unit. You'll work nights (6:30 PM – 6:30 AM) with weekends as scheduled.
Unit Details
Required Qualifications
- Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) via BRPT
- Certified Sleep Disorders Specialist (SDS) via NBRC
- BLS (AHA)
- Minimum 3 years' experience as CPSGT or RPSGT
- Minimum 2–3 successful completed travel assignments with no canceled contracts
- Evaluation scores of 3.5–4.0 or higher
- Proficiency with NATUS scoring, NATUS Sleep Works, and MPR home units
Schedule & Expectations
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- No self-scheduling; limited schedule flexibility
- No call or standby requirement
- No floating between units
Onboarding
Plan to attend an all-day hospital education session, complete one education module, and visit HR for badge processing. A brief informal orientation with the lab director will follow to review your experience and familiarize you with department workflows.
