Medical-Surgical / Neurology Travel Nurse — Charleston, SC

Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (4 × 12-hour days)

About the Unit

This fourth-floor Neurology unit provides medical-surgical care to neuro patient populations. The unit operates with a team nursing model, supported by patient care technicians and unit secretaries on day shift. A dedicated charge nurse is available to support the team.

Schedule & Commitment

• Every other weekend required, plus holidays on a rotating basis with staff employees
• Minimum of 4 weekend shifts per 4-week scheduling period
• 48 guaranteed hours per contract week

Clinical Expectations

• Hourly safety rounds and bedside shift report conducted with the patient
• Float to similar med-surg units as census needs dictate

Required Certifications

• BLS
• NIH Stroke Scale (can be obtained upon arrival)

Dress Code

• Navy scrubs
