Med Surg

Cardiac / Telemetry RN — Night Shift | Zanesville, OH | 13-Week Contract

This night shift position is based on a Cardiac Telemetry unit, with occasional float coverage to other Med-Surg areas including Wound Care, Stroke, Oncology, Respiratory, Observation, and ED/Med-Surg boarders.

Schedule

• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend required
• No call requirement

Start Date

• November 16, 2026 (fixed start date for new travelers; no alternate dates available)

Clinical Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of current, recent Telemetry and/or Stepdown experience
• Hospital-based experience required; community or clinic-only experience will not be considered
• Proficiency in telemetry rhythm interpretation is essential; a telemetry competency assessment is administered on day one — failure to pass results in assignment termination

Certifications

• Active BLS and ACLS required

EMR Proficiency

• Current proficiency in an electronic medical records system is required and must be clearly documented at submission; no refresher training or individual support will be provided — lack of demonstrated proficiency may result in assignment termination

Additional Notes

• The facility reserves the right to cancel up to 36 hours over the 13-week contract period
• All requested time off must be disclosed at the time of submission; post-confirmation RTO requests cannot be guaranteed
