Endoscopy Technician – 13-Week Travel Contract
Position Overview
The facility's Endoscopy department is seeking an experienced Endoscopy Technician for a 13-week travel assignment. You'll join a collaborative, supportive team performing a wide range of advanced endoscopic procedures in a fast-paced setting.
Schedule
- Monday–Friday: 7:00 AM–5:30 PM (36 guaranteed hours per week)
- Overnight call: 5:30 PM–7:00 AM weekdays
- 24-hour call coverage: Weekends
- Light volume float to OR Sterile Processing may occur
Clinical Scope
You'll support procedures including EGD, colonoscopies, ERCP, bronchoscopies, BARRYX ablations, Bravo placements, HET, TIF, EBUS, and EUS.
Patient Care
- 1–3 ratio for pre/post care
- 9 pre/post beds and 4 procedure rooms
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years hospital-based endoscopy experience
- Certified Endoscope Reprocessor (CFER) required
- BLS Certification
- Proficiency with endoscope reprocessing, leak testing, and medivators
- Knowledge of Olympus endoscopes and standard endoscopy equipment
- Hospital scrubs provided; closed-toe shoes required
