Surgical Technologist – Operating Room

Position Overview

The facility's surgical services department is seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist for a 13-week contract assignment. You'll work in a busy, multi-specialty OR environment supporting a wide range of surgical procedures.

Shift & Schedule

• 12-hour shifts: 7 AM or 7 PM start times
• 36 hours per week
• Every 3rd weekend as needed
• Every other holiday as scheduled
• On-call: 1x per schedule
• Potential float to other OR locations as needed

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of inpatient surgical experience
• Level 1 trauma experience required
• NBSTSA certification (mandatory)
• BLS certification
• Competency in at least 5 of the surgical specialties

Clinical Scope

You'll support cases across general surgery, gynecology, urology, oral, otolaryngology, bariatrics, orthopedics, neurosurgery, vascular, thoracic, cardiac, plastics, podiatry, robotics, pediatric surgery, trauma, and spine procedures. The OR operates 24/7 with 22 operating rooms.
