Emergency Department — Travel RN

Boston, MA | Nights | 13-Week Contract

This high-volume Emergency Department is seeking an experienced Travel RN for a night shift assignment running through January 2027. The facility treats a high number of patients daily across a large, fast-paced ED environment.

Shift & Schedule

• 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (12-hour nights)
• 48 hours preferred per week; 36-hour contracts considered
• 2 weekends per 4-week schedule period
• Every other holiday

Float Requirements

Candidates must be comfortable floating to the Psychiatric ED and Pediatric ED (patients age 15+ unless prior pediatric experience is documented).

Clinical Requirements

• Minimum 1.5 years of recent high-acuity ED experience, OR 2+ years in a lower-acuity ED setting
• Must independently read and interpret telemetry rhythm strips, including heart block identification
• Telemetry competency test required on Day 1 (minimum score: 85%)
• Travelers are not assigned to trauma rooms during this contract

Required Certifications (must be active/unexpired)

• BLS
• ACLS
• TNCC
• PALS

Preferred Experience

• Previous travel assignments
• Critical care background

• Contract duration: 13 weeks (must commit through 1/9/27)
• Start date: November 30, 2026
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility will be compensated at a local rate
