Orthopedic / Spine RN — Night Shift | Chattanooga, TN

This 13-week travel contract places you on a dedicated orthopedic and spine unit, caring for surgical patients recovering from knee and hip replacements as well as multi-level spine surgeries. The unit is supported by unit secretaries, patient care technicians, and a navigator, providing a collaborative environment for post-surgical care.

Assignment Details

• Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
• Start Date: October 1, 2026

Unit & Schedule

• Orthopedic/spine post-surgical patient population
• 4 weekend shifts required per scheduling period
• Floating policy: unit rotation
• Dress code: navy scrubs

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license
• Strong orthopedic nursing background — required
• Experience with post-operative care for joint replacement and spine surgery patients
• Compassion and teamwork orientation

Clinical Scope

• Post-operative care following knee replacements, hip replacements, and multi-level spine surgeries
• Familiarity with orthopedic equipment including continuous passive motion machines, sequential compression devices, coolers, and assistive mobility devices

This is a solid opportunity for an experienced ortho RN looking for a longer-term contract with a well-supported surgical unit in southeastern Tennessee.
