MRI Technologist – 13-Week Contract
Position Overview
The facility's Radiology Department is seeking an MRI Technologist for a 13-week contract assignment. You'll work day shift (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) performing a broad range of diagnostic imaging studies in a busy outpatient radiology setting.
Clinical Scope
You'll scan patients across multiple anatomies and specialties, including brain, spine, orthopedic, abdominal, and cardiac imaging. This is a full diagnostic MRI role with exposure to diverse pathology and patient populations.
Staffing & Schedule
- Guaranteed: 36 hours per week
- Call expectations: 2 weeknights of call each week (typically 11 PM – 6 AM), plus approximately 1 weekend per month on rotation
- Team: You'll work alongside 4 other technologists across day and evening shifts
Requirements
- Current Virginia MRI Technologist license
- MR Registered certification
- BLS certification
- Must-have: Hands-on experience with GE equipment
- Preferred: Cardiac MRI experience
