Emergency Department RN — Houston, TX

Night Shift | 13-Week Contract

This Emergency Department opportunity places you in a fast-paced ED environment, managing a diverse patient population requiring urgent and emergent care. The unit operates around the clock with a structured, collaborative team on every shift.

Shift & Schedule

• 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Rotating weekends required
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week

Clinical Scope

• High-acuity emergency nursing including airway management, hemodynamic monitoring, and vascular access
• Typical procedures include intubation and central line placement
• Experience with ventilator management expected

Required Certifications

• BLS, ACLS, and PALS or ENPC

Preferred Qualifications

• Demonstrated emergency department experience
• Strong emergency response skills
• TNCC preferred but not required

• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (start date September 14, 2026)
• Shift: Night (19:00–07:00)
• Float: None
• Dress Code: Royal blue scrubs
• No on-call requirement beyond rotating weekends
