Emergency Room RN — Chico, CA

This is a 13-week travel contract in a high-volume Emergency Department in Chico, CA, managing a diverse patient population that includes trauma, pediatric, STEMI, and stroke cases.

Schedule

• 3 × 12-hour shifts per week, rotating
• Flexible start times: 6:00 AM, 8:00 AM, 10:00 AM, 12:00 PM, 2:00 PM, and 6:00 PM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week

Clinical Scope

The ED operates across multiple pods and sees approximately 68,000 patient visits annually. Clinicians will manage high-acuity cases including trauma, pediatric emergencies, STEMI, and stroke patients. The department is accredited as both a STEMI Receiving Center and Stroke Receiving Center.

Requirements

• Current California RN license
• Minimum 2 years of ED experience in a Level II trauma center or higher, inclusive of pediatric, trauma, STEMI, and stroke care
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS (current)
• TNCC (current, required)
• ENPC (preferred)
• W-2 employment status required
