Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) – Night RN

Shift & Schedule

• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, three 12-hour shifts per week
• 4 weekend shifts per 4-week cycle
• Must work at least one holiday, including the holiday weekend
• Contract duration: 13 weeks
• Start dates available: 11/02, 11/16, 11/30, 12/14, 01/11

The Role

Required Qualifications

• RN with current California license (temporary or permanent)
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (AHA for BLS/ACLS)
• 2+ years concurrent experience in critical care or specialty nursing
• Travel nursing experience required
• Valid copies of all certifications and Nursys verification with submission

Float & Staffing

You may float to other ICU, step-down, or telemetry units within the system as needed, excluding the ED. Occasional floats to other campuses are possible based on staffing needs.

Additional Requirements

• COVID-19 vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• 7-day maximum RTO; no new RTO after submittal
• Same-day interview availability preferred; must be available for next 3 business days
• One supervisory-level reference required
