Licensing & Credential Requirements

New York

Travel Mammography Tech positions require active ARRT certification in the appropriate modality. Most facilities also expect current BLS certification through the American Heart Association. New York requires a state radiologic technology license issued by the New York State Department of Health (DOH) in addition to ARRT certification. MQSA compliance is mandatory — technologists must have performed a minimum number of exams within the qualifying period.
