Travel Rad Tech positions require active ARRT certification in the appropriate modality. Most facilities also expect current BLS certification through the American Heart Association. Ohio requires a state radiologic license issued by the Ohio Department of Health. ARRT certification satisfies the examination requirement. Generalist rad tech positions typically require ARRT (R) and competency across portable, fluoroscopy, and general diagnostic work. Facilities with surgical suites expect C-arm experience.
