Licensing & Credential Requirements
Travel CT Tech positions require active ARRT certification in the appropriate modality. Most facilities also expect current BLS certification through the American Heart Association. New York requires a state radiologic technology license issued by the New York State Department of Health (DOH) in addition to ARRT certification. Many facilities require ARRT (R) as a primary credential in addition to the CT specialty. IV certification or competency verification for contrast administration is increasingly standard.
